Salesforce Social.com Launched to Enhance Ad Campaigns

Salesforce.com (News - Alert), an enterprise cloud computing company, unveiled Salesforce Social.com, which is expected to optimize advertising campaigns via its social advertising application that connects social ads with CRM and social listening.


Michael Lazerow (News - Alert), CMO of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce.com said, “Today salesforce.com is doubling down on social ads. Social ads cannot be disconnected from your business.”

According to officials, brands and agencies will power social ad campaigns on Facebook and Twitter (News - Alert) by leveraging real-time customer and social listening data so as to widen their reach in new ways and augment revenue in the process.

Social.com is a social advertising application used in creating and automating social ad campaigns using a self-service solution and forms part of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud a social marketing solution that helps companies to market in the social and mobile era.

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud features the social listening application, Salesforce Radian6, the publishing application, Salesforce Buddy Media (News - Alert), and a social advertising application, Social.com.

“By bringing together Social.com with the best CRM solution, Salesforce CRM, and the latest in social listening application, Radian6, we’ve made it possible for marketers to connect social advertising with their customer data and real-time trends to maximize return from their advertising dollars,” Lazerow added.

Social.com helps brands to seamlessly create, optimize and automate social ad campaigns. It is not an outsourced service and is easy to use. It is also a self-serve application for agencies, brands and other advertisers.

Using the features of Social.com, brands and agencies can produce powerful social and mobile ad campaigns besides being able to build, test and launch social ad campaigns that suit various devices.

Officials added that Social.com will help marketers to execute social ad campaigns after considering targeting, creative and placement combinations. This will help deliver a relevant and localized ad campaign. Marketers can use Facebook (News - Alert) and Twitter data to design their advertising content.
