Hearsay Social Debuts New Solution for Salesforce at Dreamforce '12 Event

As Dreamforce ’12,’s (News - Alert) annual user conference, heats up in San Francisco, we’re starting to get early glimpses of new solutions likely to make their debut at the event.

Enterprise social media solutions provider Hearsay Social will be one of the companies making an announcement at the event, introducing Hearsay Social Cloud Compliance for Salesforce. The solution, as a complement to Salesforce, can help enable financial services, healthcare, and retail organizations to fully embrace the socially connected enterprise in the cloud while adhering to industry regulations and corporate governance.

Social media can be a tricky path for large enterprises. They wish to take advantage of the potential to deepen the customer experience that social media can offer, and they understand that their competitors are already there. Many large enterprises, however, are understandable nervous about social media: the message can be more challenging to control and a mishandled social media interaction can literally become national news. (And when it does, it’s seldom in a complimentary way.)

Finally, companies must also be wary of keeping to their organization message and complying with their rules of corporate governance as well as external regulations.

Hearsay Social was created with compliance for sales cloud in mind. Users can navigate social accounts, contacts, and conversations in a compliant manner. Hearsay Social Compliance captures and archives social conversations to help organization comply with business records and communications with the public regulations set by various regulatory bodies in the U.S., Canada and Europe.

Hearsay Social Cloud Compliance for Salesforce will soon be available on’s AppExchange, and includes FINRA, SEC, FTC (News - Alert), IIROC, FSA, and FDA compliance coverage across the Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and Chatter.
